For the price we paid, Choice Backpackers provided great value. The room was clean and comfortable, with fresh sheets and towels. The location was amazing, offering stunning views of the city. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in a breeze.

As for breakfast selection, it could be improved with more options.

Helpful and friendly staff. Convenient location off Queen Street. Nice and comfy bedroom for a couple. Self-check-in option with lock box. Good value for the price. Cleanliness was acceptable. Female dormitory was nice. Overall friendly atmosphere

    Couldn't stay longer.

The hotel is in a great location, just a few steps away from many stores and restaurants. the room service was efficient, and the breakfast was tasty and filling. the view from the hotel was breathtaking and truly enjoyable. the hotel provided some leisure facilities that we loved, including ping pong and billiards tables.

    The hotel gym was underwhelming.

I had a great stay at this hotel in the city center. The location was perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the main high street with all the shops and cafes. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always available to assist with anything I needed. The rooms in the private bedrooms were clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I required. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the prices of other hotels in the area.

The only minor drawback was that there could have been more washing machines and tumble dryers available, as they were frequently in use.

This hotel is totally in the city center, making it extremely convenient for exploring all the attractions. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms, especially those with private bathrooms on the upper floors, were clean and well-maintained. Additionally, the breakfast offered was a great way to start the day.

The hotel could improve on its facilities and maintenance.

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times and it has always been a great experience. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city center. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with big windows that provided plenty of natural light. One thing I loved was the attention to detail, from the basic amenities to the delicious breakfast options. Plus, the value for money is excellent!

All was satisfactory, no improvements needed.

The central location is a real plus, with everything you need just a short walk away. The friendly and helpful staff are definitely a highlight and made me feel welcome during my stay. the spacious double room and comfortable bed provided a good night's sleep.

The cleanliness of the shared kitchen was not up to par and could use some improvement. The thin walls made it difficult to get a peaceful sleep, as noise from neighboring rooms was easily heard.

Central location, convenient for airport and bus station. Facilities meet expectations, though lacking in coffee and sugar. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean communal bathroom. Good opportunity to meet new people and make friends. Close proximity to shops.

During my stay over Christmas, I appreciated the complementary hot chocolate and cookies that were provided. The hostel's location made it easy to explore the city, as it was close to many shops and restaurants. I enjoyed the comfortable beds which made it easy to get a good night's sleep.

The shared toilets and shower on each floor were a bit uncomfortable and often dirty. the bedding was not changed frequently, which was a concern considering the damp smells in the rooms.

The location was perfect, just a short walk away from Queen St. We enjoyed the convenience of being in the heart of the city. The view from our room was also impressive, adding to the overall experience. Considering the price, it was a good value for a simple and budget-friendly place to stay. Despite the shortcomings, we would recommend this hotel for those looking for a cheap and centrally located accommodation option in Auckland.

We had a great stay at this hostel. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the room was a good size for one or two people. The service was great and the staff at reception welcomed us warmly upon arrival. The location was perfect, with many attractions within walking distance or accessible by bus. The hotel facilities were also good, including a kitchen and dining room on the upper floor which saved us money on eating out during our stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by a few things. the location was absolutely perfect. It was right in the heart of the city center, which made it super convenient for exploring the area. Secondly, the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the central location. I found it to be great value for money. Lastly, the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive. They were always available to help with any questions or requests.

No major concerns, everything was satisfactory.
